Be Kind to Otters
Sea otters help restore kelp forest and seagrass ecosystems. An otter may often keep a favorite rock in folds in their armpit, so the otter can use the rock to crack open shells and clams. They push air bubbles into their thick fur when they groom themselves, so they can float. They are threatened by oil spills and climate change. They hold paws to float together and to keep their paws warm. (source biological diversity.org)
